Catra is the deuteragonist of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, the remake of the 80s show with a similar name. She plays the role of the protagonist's ex-childhood best friend, arch-nemesis, repressed love interest and eventual partner. It is common knowledge that some media doesn't do a good job at representing mental illness or the result of childhood trauma (OR living in a toxic enviroment), which is why the fact that Catra is good representation matters so much.

Catra is heavily hinted to have Borderline Personality Disorder, which clouds her judgement in the better part of the show, but despite the mental health problems caused by her upbringing in The Horde (where she was raised, remember that toxic enviroment thing?), she is still forgiven in the end (AS SHE DESERVES!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU NATE).

I relate to her a lot, not only that but she's also my pookie wookie strawberry pie babygirl who I love very much and she's a silly billy (almost destroyed the planet once).

She's a canon lesbian, having an on-screen kissing scene. According to ND Stevenson (the show's creator), Catra is an alien from another planet, like her partner. He has also suggested that her mother died at birth, but Catra doesn't have any way of knowing that. Her heterochromia represents her inner conflict (the yellow eye represents her spiral and need for control while the other represents her true desires, being a faggot and having friends). The showrunner has previously said that Catra's favorite number is 666666 because she's edgy. She's voiced by AJ Michalka (the voice of Stevonnie from Steven Universe), according to AJ her favorite color is red. She's confirmed to be a woman of color (the crew often thinks of her as latina but any interpretation is welcome). 2 major characters (both women) in the show deem her attractive (possibly 3)(also a woman).
